How Lucky We Are is an independent art and design studio based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
This website is operated by How Lucky We Are and is intended to provide information about the studio, artwork, products, stockists, wholesale opportunities, licensing, and related offerings.

Purchasing a product featuring an artwork does not transfer copyright or any reproduction, commercial, or licensing rights in that artwork.

4. Shopping & Third-Party Marketplaces
The How Lucky We Are website may link to third-party platforms such as Etsy and Faire where products can be purchased.
When you make a purchase through a third-party marketplace, your transaction is also subject to that platform's terms, policies, payment processes, and applicable seller policies.
Product pricing, availability, shipping, returns, exchanges, taxes, duties, promotional discounts, and other order-specific information are governed by the terms and policies applicable to the platform on which the purchase is completed.
How Lucky We Are is not responsible for the operation, availability, security, or independent policies of third-party platforms.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
5. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, dimensions, materials, colours, photographs, and other information accurately.
However, colours and appearance may vary depending on your screen, lighting, manufacturing process, or the handmade or printed nature of a product.
Many How Lucky We Are products are created using third-party production and fulfilment partners. Minor variations between products or production runs may occur and are not necessarily considered defects.
Product availability may change without notice.
6. Shipping, Returns & Refunds
Shipping, cancellation, return, exchange, and refund terms applicable to a purchase are provided through the marketplace or sales channel where the order is placed.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable policies before completing a purchase.
International orders may also be subject to taxes, duties, customs charges, or other fees depending on the destination and method of sale. Where these amounts are not collected at checkout, the customer may be responsible for them as permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
7. Wholesale
Wholesale products may be available through Faire or through arrangements made directly with How Lucky We Are.
Wholesale orders may be subject to additional terms relating to pricing, minimum order quantities, payment, shipping, resale, returns, cancellations, and product presentation.
Where an order is placed through Faire, Faire's applicable terms and policies also apply.
8. Licensing & Custom Artwork
Submitting a licensing or custom-artwork inquiry does not create an agreement or guarantee that a project will be accepted.
Availability, scope, permitted usage, territory, duration, exclusivity, fees, payment terms, revisions, copyright ownership, and other project-specific conditions will be agreed to separately in writing before any licensing or commissioned work begins.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, all copyright and intellectual-property rights remain with How Lucky We Are and/or Enya Vegter.
Artwork may not be used commercially until the applicable written agreement has been finalized and any required payment terms have been satisfied.
9. Email Communications
If you subscribe to the How Lucky We Are mailing list, you may receive emails about new products, collections, studio updates, promotions, sales, or other news, including automated welcome emails containing promotional offers or discount codes.
You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in marketing emails.
Promotional offers may be subject to additional terms, including expiry dates, exclusions, minimum purchase requirements, platform-specific restrictions, or restrictions on combining offers. Discounts intended for Etsy purchases are also subject to Etsy’s applicable terms and checkout requirements.
